Forging International Collaborations: the OXR in Norway

On 13 November 2023, the Oxford X-Reality Hub was invited to give a talk at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), in Trondheim, Norway. The aim was to share insights of building and maintaining a large network focused on Immersive Technologies, based on the OXR Hub’s six-year track record of success at the University of Oxford. The event was hosted by Dr Shubham Jain and Prof Gabriel Kiss who have launched and are growing their own nation-wide network devoted to immersive technologies. The XR-net is a virtual lab that brings together all the active Extended Reality research at the Department of Computer Science at NTNU and connects them to other national and international partners. For more information about the XR-net, visit https://www.ntnu.edu/idi/xrnet.

The Oxford X-Reality Hub is pleased to be part of this larger collaboration, forging new international connections with partners at the cutting-edge of mixed reality research.
